TRAINER Barry Baldwin hopes luck goes his stable's way during a busy Saturday at Eagle Farm.

Baldwin will saddle up Mr Light Blue, Run Royal Run, De Dozen Stars and Side To Side at a meeting which could be affected by rain if forecast storms arrive.

Baldwin hopes the weather stays clear for Run Royal Run, which is backing up after struggling at Eagle Farm last Saturday. Baldwin said the Royal Academy gelding did not cope with the soft track after the first downpour in Brisbane in some time.

Chris Munce takes the ride on Run Royal Run in the Raw Group Hospitality Hcp (2400m) in his most serious test to date.

Baldwin also hopes for a dry track for Mr Light Blue in the Listed Beach House Bar & Grill Brisbane Hcp (1600m). Mr Light Blue has done his best work on top of the ground and has won before over the Eagle Farm mile.

He worked home well first-up when not suited by the slow pace.

Side To Side will also back up from last weekend with Baldwin happy with the way he has recovered from an unlucky run in the wet.

De Dozen Stars, a winner at Eagle Farm two starts ago, will have the services of Tegan Harrison in the Powerade Class 6 Hcp (1300m).

"My horses have done well this week so I'm looking forward to a good day," Baldwin said.

"It's never easy to win races on a Saturday and I have to hope we get the conditions to suit."
