Glenn Davis, November 30, 2012 Barry Baldwin is hoping the omens are right for Mr Light Blue to give him his second win in the Listed Recognition Stakes at Eagle Farm on Saturday. It's been a long time between drinks for Baldwin who last won he Recognition Stakes in 1992 with his former top sprinter, Baggio. Baggio also finished third in the 1600-metre feature two years later. Mr Light Blue was a last start third to Jet Style in the Listed Brisbane Handicap (1600m) at Eagle Farm on November 17 and Baldwin is supremely confident he can turn the tables. Baldwin has tried to win the Recognition many times during his long and highly distinguished career and was also placed with Daldiere in 1983.
